Eight years ago, Diane and Tyson embarked on their journey when they acquired a picturesque five-acre property nestled along Naramata Road which they planted in 2019. The main source of their fruit comes from the Fox family vineyard, situated just down the road on the Naramata Bench. Spanning nine acres and rooted in tradition since 2009, this vineyard boasts an array of Muscat, Semillon, Pinot Noir, and Malbec varietals. These diverse grapes not only augment their wine selection but also serve as a testament to the rich tapestry of flavours found within the Naramata Bench.
Our Approach
One of Fox & Archer’s core values is a commitment to organic farming. They firmly believe that organic practices not only contribute to the overall health of the soil but also help maintain sustainable agricultural production with greater biodiversity. By nurturing the vineyards and using organic methods, they ensure that their wines embody the true essence of the land they come from.
They focus on producing cool climate style wines with a nod to a natural winemaking approach. The wines they produce allow the natural characteristics of the fruit to shine through, resulting in wines that are authentic and expressive. Their wines are made in small batches ensuring that each bottle receives the attention and detail that goes into it.
