Join our 24 Naramata wineries and Naramata Chefs for our annual Naramata wine tasting, and celebrate the 30th anniversary of the filming in Naramata of the iconic Canadian film, “My American Cousin.”
The Writer/Director of “My American Cousin” is Naramata born and raised Sandy Wilson, and she along with cast and crew members will join you and the wineries for an evening evoking Naramata in 1959.
Start looking for your 50s outfit as there are prizes for the best dressed.
There will also be distinctive wines from the Association’s 24 wineries, delicious cuisine from local restaurants, and music from the era to listen and dance to.

Must be 19 years or older for entry. Dress is nice casual or 1959 if you dare. This event is outdoors and will go ahead no matter what the weather, please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Note that dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated and food items will contain some combination of seafood, shellfish, grains, fresh local produce, soya, nuts, dairy and all sorts of other yummy things. Please be responsible about drinking and driving. Ticket sales are final, non-refundable and not available at the door.
