Wine Fest Events on the Bench
It’s Wine Fest and the weather is great! With warm days and cool, clear nights, we are celebrating with events up and down the bench. September 28 & 29 we have events at Upper Bench Winery, Township 7, Serendipity Winery, and 3 Mile Winery. And then October 4 to 6 we have events at D’Angelo
Chef Rob Cordonier of Hillside Bistro and Rob Van Westen winemaker of Van Westen Wineries hoist the Golden Boot as People’s Choice winners of the Tailgate Party Salmon Showdown. Party goers this year were treated to seven mouth watering wine and salmon pairings as part of the event and got to vote for their favourites.
Penticton Art Gallery 35th Annual Auction
On July 7 we are proud to support our regional art gallery and artists. Every year Naramata Bench Wines are featured at this eclectic, exceptional and unexpected art auction with fine food, wine and live music. Of course all tasting rooms will be open throughout the weekend on the Naramata Bench and there will be Canada Day festivities all day at Gyro Park in Penticton and games
Colors of Summer
Our Naramata colors this year are Gold, Silver and Bronze. In recent wine competitions our member wineries have had Olympic showings. These include Lake Breeze Vineyards winning Best Red Wine of the Year in Canada at the All Canadian Wine Championships as well as Bronze for their Pinot Blanc and Gold for their Semillion. At

It’s Crush Time!
Drive down Naramata Road at any time of night right now and you’ll see the wineries’ crush pads lit up like aircraft landing strips. Trucks and forklifts come and go while winemakers and their crews, bundled against the cold, are running the crushers and feeding the raw grape juice into the first stage of fermentation.
