Oysters on half shellApril 28 in Vancouver at the Wine for Waves event Naramata Chefs will be joining the Naramata Wineries and Chefs from Vancouver to present an evening of great wine and delectable foods – all in support of Ocean Wise programs.

Naramata Chefs Darin Paterson of The Pecking Room Patio Grill at Red Rooster Winery, and Brent Pillon of Hillside Winery and Bistro, along with Naramata Cheese Maker Shana Miller of Upper Bench Winery and Creamery have all created special tasting dishes and offerings for the event.

Chef Paterson will present Crispy Braised Chicken Spezzi with Organic Okanagan Thai Chili Sauce; while Chef Pillon will present Smoked Salmon Cornet with Dill Cream and Cheesemistress Miller will present a selection of artisanal cheeses made right on the Naramata Bench.

Vancouver Chefs will also participate in the event including Ned Bell (Yew Restaurant), Jefferson Alvarez (Mosquito), John McManus (Vancouver Fish Company) and others.
